Chile Quake will cost up to $7 Billion is what some of the biggest reinsurers say. The Chile earthquake was the 5th strongest in a century.

Thankfully precautionary measures had been taken in Chile before this quake hit. This reduced the amount of catastrophic claims for building collapses. But they are still not sure as to how much serious damage has occurred. Even though some of the building may not have collapsed they still may have to have either major repairs or have to demolish them. We all saw how bad this quake was but we can only imagine what they are really going through right now.

We at Chase Insurance Service would like to give back. The way that we are doing this is by our donations to The American Red Cross.

For every quote that we do we will donate $2.50, if your quote turns into a policy we will turn that $2.50 into a $10.00 donation. We hope to help these people by our small donations because remember any amount of money could save a LIFE!

I thought that some of my readers might find this interesting. Recently Google released a new option for their Maps section you may now search for Bicycle Routes in certain cities in the U.S. Currently they have around 150 cities mapped out including Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Portland and Washington, DC.

You can use Google Maps to find cycling directions in specific urban areas and Google Maps will also plan your route to avoid steep hills whenever possible.

To get cycling directions just go to Google Maps enter your starting and ending point then select Bicycling instead of Automobile. This will show your a variety of routes that may be in tyour area of interest.

If you want to try out these Cycling maps simply go to the following link  maps.google.com/cycling.

Let me know what you think about these new map options that google has given to the world.

Don’t forget when you are traveling to your destination to have proper Auto Insurance!

Although the cost of auto insurance tends to fluctuate, in recent years, premiums have tended to be on the rise. Experts have been offering a number of reasons for this trend. For instance, with the recent decline in the economy and increased government spending, the concerns over high inflation have pushed rates higher. As well, the rising cost of fuel has led to increased costs for such commodities as aluminum, steel, copper, and other materials that are used to repair vehicles. This means that the insurance companies will have to pay out higher for a claim. By increasing insurance rates, they can make up the loss for the increase in repair claim costs. Another reason for rate increases is that in a number of states there has been an increase in accident claims. Many worry that there may be an increase in fraudulent claims due to people looking for a big payout due to poor economic circumstances as a result of the poor state of the economy, including the high number of job losses. With an increase in insurance rates, many people wonder what they can do to control their insurance costs. Fortunately, there are a number of things a person can do to reduce their premiums or keep their insurance costs low. A site to review updated car insurance articles online is autosinsurancerates.com.

Before searching for auto insurance, you should determine your insurance needs. For instance, do you put a lot of miles on your car or do you maintain low mileage? If you keep your mileage low, you will be eligible for a discount. As well, if you drive a hybrid, you can get a discount for driving a ‘green’ car. Other things that can lower your rates include: installing anti-theft devices, get a pay as you drive plan where you pay only for the miles driven, and park your car in a garage instead of on the side of the road where it could get stolen.

The type of vehicle you drive will affect your insurance premiums. Consider purchasing a used car that has a good safety record. As well, purchase a make and model that is known to have a lower insurance rate. Remember, policy rates of premium models and brand new cars are much higher than less popular and older vehicles. Also, if the vehicle you drive is not worth much, you may not need collision coverage which will save you money. The most important thing to remember is always comparison shop for an auto insurance quote. Several different quotes will ensure you are getting a cheap insurance rate.

Until the economy makes a full recovery, it is expected that car insurance rates will not be going down any time soon. Remember, when searching for car insurance, it pays to do your research.

You will save a lot of money if you implement measures to reduce your insurance premium.

If you shop for the best price on your clothes why not shop for the best rates on your Insurance?

Insurance rates fluctuate like a roller coaster, one year your company may be the lowest and the next they may be the highest. The reason for this type of cycle is because one company may receive a TON of claims in a given year. This causes the insurance rates to go up across the board (for everyone). An example of this is when there is a huge natural disaster and a company has to pay out hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars in ONE year.

At Chase Insurance Service we are proud to be an Independent Insurance Agency. This means we have access to many different insurance markets. We know that in these hard economic times it is hard to pay all of these high insurance premiums. We see too often clients come through the door mad because their insurance rates have gone up even though they have not had a claim or a ticket nor any other reason for this. So we will Shop the rates for you and find the best insurance policy for your DOLLAR!

Call us or contact us through the web, we are more than happy to help save you money and earn your business and trust.

Do you have a bank account? If so did you know that you may be able to get discounts on your auto insurance?

With most insurance companies they offer between 5 & 10% discounts off your total premium if you pay with automatic draft. This can add up to be a significant savings when your paying hundreds or thousands of dollars a year for your insurance!

Also another benefit with most companies to pay with automatic draft is to have a smaller down payment. Most insurance carriers charge you the policy holder two months down payment when you first start your policy. This can often be avoided if you elect to pay auto draft. The company will often only charge the one month making your policy a true 6 month or 12 month policy.

Just something to think about the next time you are speaking with your current agent or shopping for new insurance!

In the state of Texas if you do not carry at least minimum coverage on your Auto you may face severe penalties.

We at Chase Insurance Service want to make sure that you are covered and do not face any of these penalties. Texas now has an insurance verification system that all law enforcement officials have with them. They may check your vehicle at any time to make sure your insurance is current.

If you do not have current insurance,  then a first conviction will result in a fine between $175 and $350. A second offense can result in fines of $350 to $1000, suspension of your driver’s license, and impoundment of your automobile.

So lets make sure that you are covered I would not want this to happen to anyone out there in the great state of Texas.

Adam,

I would like to personally thank you for all of your effort in securing new lower rates on both my Home and Auto Insurance.  I was excited to save over $1,200.00 a year, but to also gain more than my existing coverage was above my expectations.  I also wanted to thank you for your prompt and courteous service to the families that I recommended calling you.  They all were very impressed with the speed of your quotes and your professionalism.  That makes me happy to refer you to my friends and colleagues.  Thanks again for all you do, you definitely go above and beyond to satisfy your clients.

Regards,
Chris
